Reference statistics on digital money
The Institute for Digital Money Statistics compiles statistics on stablecoins and other forms of digital money using published methods. It retains each release as an immutable vintage, identifies the version of the series and makes the data available free of charge for official and academic use.
What we publish
- Methodology standards. Published specifications define the quantities counted and the compilation rules. The current standard is SBMP-01, Stablecoin S0/S1/S2 monetary aggregates, version 1.1.
- Statistical series. Daily observations are compiled under the applicable standards. All published vintages are retained. The current programme is Stablecoin Beat.
- Research. Working papers, research papers and research notes carry persistent identifiers. Negative results are also published.
